Change Ownership of Domain Name

.AU Domain Names

A registrant name change is the process of transferring the ownership of a domain name ending in .au from one party to another. A transfer of ownership will start a new registration of the domain to the receiving entity, who will need to meet the eligibility requirements to hold the registration of the domain.

Transfer of Ownership for a .AU domain name is $120. If your domain name is with Catalyst Directions, just complete the form below and we will organise the transfer of ownership for you. The transfer fee includes registration of the domain for two years from the date the transfer is completed.

Once you complete the form below, we will initiate the change request with the registry and an email will be sent to the current registrant which will instruct to confirm or decline the registrant name change. Once they approve the change, the process will proceed and we will notify you once it is complete.

Other Domain Names

Other domain names such as .com, .net and .org (that don't end in .au) generally don't have any special ownership change process. For these, there is no charge, but please complete the form below to provide the details of new ownership so we can update the registry with the new ownership details.
